Smoked Sausage Stuffing
| Ingredients |
| 1 Pound SMOKED TURKEY SAUSAGE, chopped |
| 1/4 Cup onion, chopped |
| 1 Can (8 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained |
| 2-1/2 Cups French bread, day old and cut into 1/2-inch cubes |
| 1/4 Cup pine nuts, toasted |
| 1 egg, slightly beaten |
| 1/8 Teaspoon cayenne pepper |
| 2 Tablespoons Pesto sauce |
| |
- In large skillet, over medium-heat, saute sausage and onions, until turkey is cooked throughout and onion is translucent. Drain and set aside.
- In large bowl, combine mushrooms, bread, nuts, egg, cayenne pepper and Pesto Sauce with sausage mixture.
- Stuff turkey breast as indicated in Stuffed Turkey Breast with Pesto Sauce recipe.
