Todd English, an honors graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, began honing his craft with apprenticeships in fine restaurants in both New York and Italy. It was in Italy that Todd developed his unique style and approach to food and cooking. At 25, Todd returned to the U.S. and opened the award-winning Northern Italian restaurant, Michela's, where he served as Executive Chef for 3 years to high praise from both the press and public.
Currently, Todd is chef and owner of Olives in Charlestown, MA, and Figs in Charlestown, Boston, and Wellesley, MA. Olives has drawn national and international attention with English's interpretive European cuisine.


The Olives Table, written by Todd English and Sally Sampson, features 160 stellar examples of mouth-watering Mediterranean fare from Olives, as well as from his home kitchen.
